A Strong Start to the Year for Bristol Concert Wind Band

Bristol Concert Wind Band has started 2016 on a strong footing with the appointment of a new musical director and two formal concerts in Bath and Henleaze. In April BCWB were invited to play a concert in aid of Tumaini Children's Charity. The moving concert, laced with a animal-themed programme was a great success, raising over £1,000 for children in Kenya.

Just a month later BCWB held their annual Spring Concert at Trinity Henleaze United Reformed Church, allowing our new MD Paul Hornsby to showcase his and the band's hard work over just 10 weeks!

We are now looking forward to an eventful Summer, with BCWB playing in Bath and Blaise Castle Estate in July and August, and all the other bands and groups performing in various locations around Bristol between June and September. For more information see our events page!
