Another Busy Weekend for BCWB Bands!

Last weekend completed BCWB's Summer programme with events held by our learner groups and Blown Away!
On Saturday, the learner groups held their end of year concert, seeing Windjammers graduate after two years of tuition, and the Settlement Set reach the halfway mark. The free concert at Thornbury United Reformed Church was in aid of Butterfly Space, a project in Malawi run by a local from Thornbury. The concert also featured guest players the Wooden Tubes, a bassoon ensemble from the area.

On Sunday, Blown Away! once again took to the bandstand at Page Park, Staple Hill. The sun stayed out and attracted a good crowd!

Now the Summer programme is complete all the bands are taking a breather for a couple of months! Our next public event will be BCWB's Autumn concert in November. For more information head to our events page
